The Princess Polka Dot Party is a fun & simple party! My 5 year old daughter ( a perpetual party planner) planned out this party. I decided to surprise her by carrying out her plans (and added a few ideas of my own) for the princess party. I had it ready for her when she came home from her first day of Kindergarten! She was so surprised! Check out the details…
I wanted to carry the polka dot theme onto the table! I love the look of all the polka dots! I used the left over paper from the hats to help tie the napkins into the theme!
I loved making the princess hats banner! I decorated the triangle paper with crepe paper and ribbon! So easy!
The food was a snap to make! The push pops have lemon cake and cream cheese frosting.
The rice crispy treats are always a favorite for kids! I made the treats according to the marshmallow package, only I spread them thin in a jelly roll pan. Then used a round cookie cutter to cut the treats. I think the polka dot cupcake wrapper looks darling under the treats!
Love the Meltaway Cookies Recipe via Landee see, Landee do!
Didn’t the girls do a great job decorating their princess hats?
The party favors were so easy (and cheap!) I scored the notebooks for 17 cent each! I dolled them up with scrapbook paper. I know both my girls have been writing and drawing in their new Princess Diaries!
